Identification - Reservations must be made using the full name on your government-issued travel document. Changes to names after travel documents are issued may incur fees, which you will be responsible for.

Refunds - All payments to the SLAPcollective are non-refundable and non-transferable. Our vendor contracts prevent refunds, allowing us to maintain competitive pricing and flexible payment options.

Passports & Visas - You are responsible for ensuring you have valid travel documents. Check with consulates for entry requirements. Passports should be valid for at least 6 months post-travel, with sufficient blank pages for stamps. Non-U.S. citizens should consult their consulates for entry guidelines.

Travel Protection - Travel insurance is required and highly recommended to cover cancellations, delays, baggage issues, and medical emergencies. Insurance can be purchased through us or independently, but proof must be provided if you choose your own policy.

Travel Documents - Upon full payment, travel documents and instructions will be emailed 15 days before departure. You agree to provide us with your travel arrangements once they are confirmed so we can coordinate arrival and departure transportation.

Prices - Prices are per person, based on single or shared occupancy, as is specified with your package. Personal expenses, additional meals, and other fees are not included. Prices are subject to change based on availability and unforeseen factors. We will notify you of any price adjustments, and you may cancel for a full refund within five days if you decline to pay the difference.

Payments & Cancellations

  • Deposit: Non-refundable and required at booking.

  • Full Payment: Can be made anytime if space permits.

  • Late Payment: Fees apply if balances are unpaid three days past the due date.

  • Reinstatement: Canceled reservations can be reinstated within 14 days for a fee.

  • Cancellation: Must be requested in writing. As refunds are not available, please consult your travel insurance for compensation.

Changes to Reservations - Modifying a reservation incurs a $25 fee per person, plus any supplier charges. Airline name changes may require full rebooking, and there are no refunds for unused services.

Travelers with Disabilities - We strive to accommodate special needs but cannot guarantee accessibility on all tours. Please notify us of any requirements when booking. You may need to arrange for an assistant if you require personal help.

Airline Policies - We are not responsible for airline schedules, seat assignments, or penalties for changes. Any flight schedule adjustments or additional charges are the traveler’s responsibility.

Hotel Accommodations - Room assignments are subject to availability. Requests for specific room types may not be guaranteed. International standards, including air conditioning and room size, may differ from those in the U.S.

Meals & Transfers - Meals are included as outlined in the itinerary, excluding drinks unless stated. Transfers are provided as outlined as well; delays over one hour may require you to make alternative arrangements at your own expense.

Group Harmony - We reserve the right to remove any disruptive participant or refuse future bookings for non-compliance with our terms. Associated costs will be borne by the traveler.

Release from Liability - the SLAPcollective does not own or operate any entities providing travel services, including airlines, hotels, and transportation. We are not liable for injury, damage, delay, or inconvenience resulting from acts of third parties, weather, or other conditions beyond our control. You agree to release us from all liability arising from your travel.

Assumption of Risk - Travel involves inherent risks, including illness, injury, or death from natural forces, hazardous activities, or limited medical facilities. By participating, you assume these risks and agree to hold the SLAPcollective harmless for any issues arising from your travel experience.

Force Majeure - We are not liable for disruptions caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, acts of war, pandemics, or government actions. If such events impact your trip, we will make every effort to adjust plans but cannot guarantee refunds or rescheduled services.

Knowing and Voluntary Execution - By booking, you confirm that you have read and understand these terms, voluntarily accepting the risks associated with your travel. Your signature or confirmation through online registration confirms your acceptance.

Photographic Release - By attending our retreats, you consent to being photographed or filmed. the SLAPcollective may use these images for promotional purposes without compensation.

Liability Disclaimer - The information and services on our website may contain errors. the SLAPcollective is not liable for any inaccuracies or damages resulting from the use of our site or travel services. We may update content at any time without notice.

General Terms - If any term is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable. These terms represent the full agreement between the SLAPcollective and you. We are not your fiduciary, and all dealings are commercial.
